BTMT commissioned a new ZS800 Optical Vacuum Machine on June 5, 2008. By August, all the assembly and commissioning were completed and the new coating machine has been put to use.

This new coating machine contains the standard configurations: Quartz crystal film-thickness measurement and control system, touch screen, etc. There is automatic controlling of braise-coating and the repetition of every lot is guaranteed.

A full array of the ZS800 Optical Vacuum Coating Machine’s components include:

·Japanese-technology e-guns, supplied by the Nanjing Shibuya Company, which ensure the stability of the evaporation speed.
·Programmable scanners control the spot track and transpiration rate of materials such as HfO2 and ZrO2
·Taiwan Chenru Company’s Deep Cold Technology utilizes a vacuum chamber at -120 degrees Celsius to enhance the ability to capture water molecules.
·The Coating Machine’s workpiece tray rotates in a planetary motion with 4 individual baskets rotating on top of a larger rotating plate. This ensures the part’s uniformity by pinpointing the center wave’s tolerance as +/-3nm.
